How can we all work together to insure academic success for youth?
We are at at crossroads in education. New directions and different approaches are needed.

With the increase of destructive influences facing youth, it makes the process even more challenging (IE - Drugs, Alcoholism, Violence, Gangs, Increased Suicides, etc). The failure of students to concentrate and focus is a reality teachers observe in their classroom everyday. The state departments of Education (and NEA) statistics reveal that the greatest shortfall in education is a students inability to communicate effectively. Due to electronic technology, it is obvious students are not developing social skills.
